A fine 13th C Grade I listed building. which stands near the ruins of Acton Burnell castle. Exceptional craftsmanship for a remote parish church. It has Medieval floor tiling and traces of flower paintings. It has a table tomb with brasses including one of the finest brasses in Shropshire, along with a magnificent Elizabethan monument to the Lee family. With the churchyard containing its heritage collection of dafodils it is a special place, with a wealth of history, architecture, horticulture and spirituality.
